Group Mutuel KidsProtect – Insurance in case of cancer

In Switzerland, several hundred cases of cancer in children are diagnosed on a yearly basis. By such a diagnosis, the financial balance of the family is slightly disrupted because Swiss legislature concedes only three paid vacation days – financial support is not provided.

KidsProtect, our solution for affected families

In order to support families in such cases, the group Mutuel insurances GMA AG has developed the insurance KidsProtect (KP). Thanks to this in Switzerland unique insurance, parents receive a supportive annuity of 4.000 fr. on a monthly basis at the beginning of the treatment.

Affected families can choose freely how to apply the assets, because in this situation, they must

• decrease occupational activity or even stop it completely,
• organize care for the other children
• bear the costs of their meals away from home or if need be, sustain the transportation costs for the treatment of their child.
