    Model ?
    Traditional
    Standard components of obligatory healthcare insurance. Same components for all health insurance bureaus, with free selection.

    House doctor model
    5-20% premium advantage / in the event of illness you must always begin by consulting your house doctor (except in an emergency).

    HMO model
    Premium advantage up to 25% / in the event of illness you must always begin by consulting a doctor who is practicing in an HMO Centre (unless in an emergency).

    Telmed model
    Premium avantage up to 15% / you must make a telephone call to the helpdesk prior to every doctor's visit - you will be offered advice and possible hints regarding medical treatment or regarding the doctor who should be consulted. This excludes emergencies etc.
    Year of birth Deductible rate ?
    Our franchise is recognised as an excess amount which the insured party must carry itself as part of occurrent costs in connection with doctors, hospital treatment or medicaments. Selecting a higher franchise will allow the insured party to benefit from generous premium rebates. The maximum premium rebate for children is 420 CHF / year; for adults it's about 1,540 CHF / year.
    Accident coverage ?
    Mandatory for:
    • Unemployed children and youth.
    • Unemployed adults and who do not receive unemployment daily allowance.
    Not necessary for:
    • People who are employed at least 8 hours a week (the employer must ensure them against accidents).
    • Unemployed people with unemployed daily allowance are insured against accidents by SUVA.
